Ok Dad, This Post Is For You

The Bowtech

So Dad, here's a bunch of pictures I took today of the used Bowtech I told you about. I hope you can get a feel for what it looks like. Although getting a closer look at both it and the Mission bows today (I set up two Mission bows practically all by my self today :D ) I'm not really sure which way would be better. Those Mission bows are pretty nice.

Draw length is very adjustable so I'm sure we can get this bow to fit you. The weight is about 60-70 lbs.

Some rust. A little discouraging, but perhaps possible to replace the screw.

No matter what bow you get I'll have to adjust the peep site to fit you once you can actually hold the bow.

Since I had the camera out anyway I thought I'd take a few pictures of the shop.

(you could just buy a cross bow... ;) )

Ta da! This is where I work, isn't it wonderful :)

We might be able to find you a release that better and not that much more expensive right out of the box.

This is a good rest, I haven't compared prices to the new ones but I really like this kind of drop away.

There's more options as far as used arrows go, I just thought I'd put a few up. Truth is we're gonna have to find some that we can fit to you and your bow specifically  but we might get lucky and find the right ones (or longer ones we can cut down) on the used rack.

Memorable Memorial Day

Green: Brianne Murdock
Blue: Dustin Murdock
Normal Color: The Murdocks

Memorial Day!! SUPER WONDERFUL FANTASTIC DAY!!! Dustin doesn't get a whole lot of time off with his work so we decided to take advantage of the all the opportunities a short work day had to offer.

I got to go with Dustin to work, all official like and everything! They even let me ware a genuine Sage polo shirt. I was stoked.

Dustin showed me the ropes and taught me his masterful skills on how to knock a door and what exactly Flyer Swag consists of. Yep all the tricks of the trade have been broken out.

He even let me do a couple door approaches and guess what, I got a call back :D meaning somebody who's interested but wants to think about it or discuss it with a spouse ect. so we'll call them back.

Ok so a Call Back may be pretty cool but THAT smooth looking guy got a SALE in the couple hours that we were out there! We were on our way back to the car and we decided to stop and talk to one more guy...whom Dustin made a solid sale with after eloquently describing all aspects of the service and answering very technical questions without missing a beat. This guy is GOOD with people I'm telling you.

After a successful morning to mid afternoon at work we decided to spend the day playing :D at the lake :D it was wonderful.

Ward BBQ= Always a good idea.

We didn't think to take pictures till we were driving away but here the park that's only about five mins from our home that was the gathering place for the ward party.

Good, free food and friendly faces after a day at the lake was the perfect evening of a perfect day

Only to be topped off with an extremely tasty Blueberry Pomegranet Smoothie from...

...Yep, good old McD's.
Our GPS when we're lost, our Portal game during honeymoons, and Knights after Finals week (till 2:00 in the morning I might add.) Free wifi was an excellent idea on their part.
