Date Night for Dustin

This was a date I set up for Dustin just a week or two after we'd moved into our little home. It gives a good glimpse of what the house looked like in the stages of setting it up. But more importantly this was just simply a fantastically fun time that I don't want to forget.

He loves Recess :D

Gettin Moved In

All the boxes from the car, its a miracle they all even fit in our home.

We moved them from the bedroom to the bathroom for a few days while we moved in. Craziest obstacle course I've ever done.

Those bowls are SO FANTASTIC!

Yep, he wore the Bowie knife around, loves it. I had to fight him for my turn, now it hangs next to the door as a compromise and to let our guests know they're perfectly safe while they're here...sorta ;)

Our first table! That was an exciting day, sure helps to have something to put dinner and homework on.

And then came this table!! We found a lovely deal on a nice wooden table, discussed it for weeks and then Dustin surprised me with it one day. That was super fun, I love that table. I love decorating our home.

Olive wood centerpiece from Jerusalem :)

Our kitchen came together nicely. People were so very generous to us for our wedding, we are so incredibly grateful. I don't know what we would have done without the kindness of so many good people. We were shocked at how well we were able to make our little home. Thank you

Most Stupendous Open House

Mom and Emma were absolutely beautiful.

The food....I actually got to eat it!

mmm it was so delectable :)

The wonderful guests that arrived before us...we may or may not have been stuck  on the freeway with an overheated car somewhere in between here and San Francisco.

These two lovely ladies on the left are the culprits of this beautiful event, between them and my mother  an evening of memorable perfection was created.

At last we arrive! Good thing we had showered that morning after several days of camping cause prep time here was about ten minutes.

The very best part about our the open house was getting to see and hug all the beloved friends that I care about so much.

I love my daddy, he and my wonderful Mom put so much work into this beautiful open house. Thank you.

Thank you, my most loved friends for coming. The time spent with you means the world to us. We love you.
